Page Two---Keith and Nancy take a road trip Aug. 15-29, 2004
Aspen was just a stopover for a few minutes--too ritzy for us, but we had to see it.

That's the historic Independence Square Hotel.
Pike's Peak was higher, but Independence Pass, near Aspen, was pretty high, too.
It was Pike's Peak or Bust, but we took the cog railroad--a fun ride nearly straight up, that took about an hour and a half.
Lunch and Snack wanted to go along, and they loved the ride, too.
If the train didn't stop, this is where it would fall off! On a clear day, you can see all the way to Kansas.
Lunch and Snack found a little friend in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Keith at a campsite we had near Granby, Colorado--one of the nicest sites we had, next to Denver Creek.
Lunch, how do you open zippers?.
