Lunch and Snack roll 'em in Sin City (Las Vegas) ~ October, 2009. | |
Welcome to another fun bovine adventure in fabulous Las Vegas!
Lunch and Snack look over their pasture for the week ~ the Excalibur Hotel and Casino on Las Vegas Boulevard. It looks just like a real castle...surrounded by high rises.
Here's the backside of the Excalibur from the hotel room, looking at the turrets at sunset.
The cows ride The Duece down The Strip. This transit bus is a favorite of all the gamblers, going up and down the boulevard to all the casinos.
"Lunch, is this a jackpot?" "Well....not quite."
Lunch and Snack got to meet Penn Jillette after the Penn & Teller show at the Rio.
Teller tries to pull off a disappearing trick by putting Snack in his pocket as Lunch tries to figure out how he did it. These guys are master illusionists.
The cows take a side trip to Hoover Dam. The bypass bridge is getting closer to completion every day. Maybe by late 2010.
"This is our second trip to the dam, Lunch, and I never get tired of it. That's a lot of concrete."
Lunch and Snack check out the view of the dam from the Arizona side.
The cows make thier way over to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to see the Calico Hills ~ a giant sandstone formation.
"Are hoofs good enough?"
"Do you see what I see?"
The cows, back in town, pay homage to old Las Vegas with a visit to Glitter Gulch, also known as Fremont Street.
Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef exhibit shows off a real live komodo dragon. The cows wanted to be friends, but not his dinner.
To finish off their trip, Lunch and Snack enjoyed the Fountains of Bellagio ~ about eight times!
